Welcome
The Ruhr Graduate School in Economics (RGS Econ) is a center for research and higher education in Economics. It has been initiated and founded by three universities of the Ruhr Area (Bochum, Dortmund and Duisburg-Essen), and by RWI, one of Germany‘s leading economic research institutes. Over a period of three years, graduate students receive guidance leading to a Ph.D. in economics complying with highest international standards.

Application and Admission 2010
The Interactive Online Application System (IOAS) for the 2010 intake is now closed.
Applications for the 2011 program starting October 1st will be accepted from February 1st 2011 onwards.
